FOCKE-WULF 190 "BUTCHER BIRD - Hitler's trump card. The secret of its success was so closely guarded that pilots were not allowed to overfly the UK - until on 23 June 1942 Oberleutnant Faber landed one on an airfield in South Wales and the secret was revealed in detail.

I read this incredible book about the experiences of a Czech pilot, one of the many "westernized" combatants who were treated cruelly by the Russian-dominated Communist regime on their return to Checkoslovakia after the war.
